Vang Tao – Chong Mek Border: Opening Hours & Getting There from Pakse

The Vang Tao (Laos) – Chong Mek (Ubon Ratchathani) crossing is the main land link between Pakse and Thailand, open roughly 06:00–20:00 (sample). Songthaews and vans leave often from the Northern Bus Terminal and Daoheuang market (about 1 hour), and several international Pakse – Ubon buses run daily.
