About this event
Three nights of southern Lao food — laap, grilled Mekong fish, khao poon, Bolaven coffee and Lao-Vietnamese sweets on the Mekong.
Restaurants and vendors from across Champasak set up stalls along the Mekong each evening: Pakse favourites such as khao piak sen, pho and pâté baguettes, salt-grilled fish from Si Phan Don and produce from the Bolaven. There are laap-making demonstrations and live music every night.
Tip: bring small notes — some stalls take QR payments. Say "bo phet" if you don't want it spicy.
