About this place
A family pho shop run by Lao-Vietnamese owners — overnight beef broth, a mountain of fresh herbs and Vietnamese-style iced coffee.
Pakse has had a Vietnamese community since colonial times, so the pho here leans both ways: a clear, spiced broth, soft thin noodles, rare beef, brisket and meatballs. Baguette sandwiches (khao jee pâté) are sold in the morning.
The herb plate — basil, mint, bean sprouts and chillies — is refilled for free. Closed on Mondays.
